Some Aspects of the Modelling of Thin-Layer Drying of Sawdust
نویسندگان
چکیده
Drying of spruce, beech, willow, and alder sawdust was examined in a laboratory type dryer. The effect drying air temperature T (25, 60, 80 °C) airflow velocity v (0.01, 0.15, 1.5 m/s) investigated. obtained results demonstrated that have impacts on the sawdust. experimental dehydration data were fitted to theoretical, semi-theoretical, empirical thin-layer models. accuracies models estimated using correlation coefficient (R), root mean square error (RMSE), reduced chi-square (χ2). All except theoretical model sphere described characteristics satisfactorily. parameters (constants coefficients) determined. effect, by proposed equations, also described. This work combines aspects mechanical engineering modelling process.

in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Mathematical Modelling of Thin Layer Drying Kinetics of Biodegradable Pellets
The deoiled rice bran, industrial waste (paddy husk, potato peels and banana peels) and plasticizers were added to develop pellets after extrusion for their further use in preparing molds (pots) for horticultural use. Pellets were prepared by extrusion technology using glycerol and cashew nut shell liquid as plasticizers and were dried in a chamber with constant air circulation (1.5 m/sec). Dry...
